Oooh I loved this! I was just talking to someone about how important obedience is and how not doing what spirit tells us can delay our blessings. I think Ms. Mae knew she didn’t have to overtalk it because the result would be the same no matter how much she pressed. Sometimes those who don’t hear must feel in order to get it, and Ms. Mae (and the spirits) knew that. When (not if) he was ready to listen, they knew he’d be back to do exactly what he was told from jump lol.

Oh, that's a quote right there; those who don't hear it must feel it in order to get it. Thank you for reading. I have a bunch of short stories of wisdom I learned from elders, my non-listening cousins, lol, and just watching people not follow their prescriptions. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you. Blessings to you

side note, she made the best homemade pickles. I loved going to her cookouts. May she rest well.

In this life, everybody gets their turn at being the non-listening cousin 🤣 May Ms. Mae rest well and shoutout to her pickles! And thank you for the blessings. I receive them and wish the same for you 🤲🏾

This story is a reminder that I’ve heard from you PLENTY of times. “Don’t make your life the sacrifice.” If he would have listened the first time, he wouldn’t be troubled by the things that came after. Obedience is important. Also for me, this was a reminder that everything doesn’t need a response. I’ve been getting a lot of messages and trying to decipher on what should be said and when I need to just mind my business.
