Vesta In Your Chart Deserves You Attention To
Why This Asteroid Plays a Role in Your Inner Healing!
Astroids play a massive role in people's charts and healing, love journeys, and more, and they don’t get talked about or looked at enough. However, since my work is focused on healing, I look at those things for my clients. In astrology, Vesta is an asteroid associated with life's sacred and spiritual dimensions. Vesta is not used or talked about as much as the other asteroids like Chiron, the "Wounded Healer." But I wanted to shine some light on it since Vesta is making its way into one of my favorite transits, Cancer. Vesta is part of a group of asteroids and gets its name after the Roman goddess of the dwelling, inner fire, and hearth. Vesta is linked to our inner dedication and commitment to ourselves, our Ancestors, and our love life and focuses on life themes through love. Vesta is a goddess who reminds us of our purity and that we need to look within for our purity and validation.
Vesta reminds us of those listening to that completeness in others is a false thing to look for. We are born whole and complete, and the inherent power of our life force energy that is yours is separate from others. You are you, and you are you for a reason. No one can complete you, no one, no matter what fake love stories you sell yourself. You are already a complete being. A person is an addition to your life, but you were whole and complete before that person.
The goddess Bastet, in Egyptian belief, is said to be where some belive the Vesta stories come from as, just like Bastet, she was of special service to women for women to honor their sexual power
Some research shows that the Romans got the story of Vesta from the Orisha female road of Obatala Orisha Yeye, the path of female protectors carrying the bow and arrow.
As a reader, my focus is on Ancestral healing. Still, people like to skip steps on the healing of their ancestors and come to get messages about marriage and love. They look for relationships and marriages, especially from romantic partners; I look at their Vesta in their charts to see if it is love-centered reading. In Greek, the word Vesta meant virgin, then meant "one who stayed unto herself," referring to an unmarried woman rather than its current purely sexual connotation known today. A "Virgin" was pure not just for sex but because she was stress-free from men's problems and worries cause she chose herself above all else. Vesta was known as a goddess who refused to marry the powerful gods Apollo or Poseidon, although she had had romantic relationships with them. Being tied to marriage didn't mean she couldn't have or experience love. However, many stories surrounding the exact nature of these relationships still need to be determined, as many stories are missing significant sections and many lost translations.
If you feel led to share the publication, it would mean much to the work. It is the reposting and sharing and paid subscribers that allow me more resources and time to write; thank you
A picture of the Black Madonna, which is also said to be a manifestation of Vesta, also known as Mater, or “Mother,” represents the purity that a Mother must have to be willing to put her life on the line to give birth.
Vesta reminds us a part of having true loving relationships in our lives is that we have to honor and take time to devote to our spiritual path and that if we dont devote ourselves to ourselves as we should, that can sometimes interfere with our relationships, if we think, of our relationships as separate from parts of our spiritual path and who we choose or not choose to be with do they hold and meet us as the sacred individual as we are. Choose wisely with whom you want to be with, or you will be better off being alone and unto yourself.
Vesta is a good transit to look at. Are you doing all you can for yourself? In terms of building your auric field, ashe, and life force energy so that others' energy doesn’t easily affect yours, are you as dedicated to your spiritual hygiene as you should be?
Connecting with Vesta reveals our dedication to ourselves. Do we take the time to do what we need personally to be good partners in relationships? People who struggle to care for themselves while in relationships or have relationships withheld from them because they put other people first above themselves should look at their Vesta. Vesta reminds us and can show certain ceremonies or rituals and the magic people need to enhance their sacred relationship with themselves and others for better human relationships. Vesta reminds us of our sensual sexual magic and how better to express it and channel our sexual energy to reach our potential.
Vesta is layered, with a metallic wrap in a dense, rocky mantle and topped by a crust of cooled lava like Earth. The difference is that Earth grew large enough to achieve planetary status while Vesta only got halfway there.
Vesta In Cancer Are Mothering Yourself Like You Should
Here are some things that are knowing Vesta in your astrology: Today, March 31, and will stay here till June 19, 2024, at 6:07 PM, when Vesta enters another one of my fav Vesta transits for love and empowerment of self and others. When Vesta enters Cancer following its stay in Gemini, its energies as an asteroid of devotion are well-suited to this Zodiac Sign Cancer because Cancer is known for being devoted to one's home and the things one loves.
During Vesta's transit in Cancer, there may be an emphasis on creating and maintaining a sense of personal sanctuary and emotional well-being and reparenting yourself, specifically mothering yourself. Individuals are likely to think intensely about what home feels like, housing stability, and chosen and given family. If there have been shake-ups in your home life recently, you can thank the move from Vesta in Gemini to Cancer urging us to leave behind homes and spaces that aren't for us and that our inner and outer security matters when it comes to our homes. It also urges us to face the fact that many of us are out of our parent's homes far longer than when we were in them. How and when will you stop blaming your childhood for your shortcomings in life? As leading trauma experts have repeated time and time, most trauma leads a person to resilience, and yes, everyone is different, and how they experience trauma is different. Still, the research shows that the most common trauma response is resilience. Vesta's transit through Cancer reminds us of our inner resilience, and no, Im not discounting anyone's trauma. But it reminds us to get the help that we need to keep our inner fire going, and trauma doesn’t give you an excuse to hurt yourself or others either. Healing and growing is a choice, and Vesta in Cancer reminds us to choose inner healing.
This transit also prompts a desire to cultivate dedicated and nurturing spaces and balance outer responsibilities and personal needs. For example, if you have grown children living with you, do you have the right balance to entertain your company as you also need space? Are you a single parent who needs time to themselves? Vesta Transit helps spark creativity and caring to create the village you need to be able to have that time for yourself. Vesta's transits in Cancer can prompt individuals to examine whether they are preparing their children financially and mentally for the real world and to be on their own. Yes, it's okay to follow your dreams, but if your dream will pay your bills exactly and give you enough money to live, It reminds us as parents to have honest conversations with our children about money and what it takes to live and have a home. You can also follow your dreams, but you have to live as well, finding the balance that works for them.
