Let's Talk Hoodoo Bible Divination
Since teaching Bible divination to people younger than myself, I have found that most of them are into the Tarot Card divination system. So, to better explain Bible Divination to them, I learned Tarot. I still don't like it as a divination tool, but I digress. To each their own everyone has their own thing, but I see why people do like it. So, in my studying Tarot to teach Bible Divination better, I compared the Bible Chapters to Tarot and Playing Cards so that they could better grasp Bible Divination and Hoodoo Healing Bible study easier to relate to. Like Genesis can reflect the energy of The Fool and Pentacle's creation, new beginnings, stepping into the unknown, and more. Or that Exodus can mirror The Magician and The Chariot, which are good for manifestation, liberation, spiritual willpower, and changing habits.
In Hoodoo Bible Study, we explore how the books of the Bible we cover align with Tarot and playing card divination and wisdom, how to use them in your work, and for Ancestral guidance. If you want to join us for the next session, this is only for Black practitioners.

One of the things that came up in the Hoodoo Healing Bible Study we talked about was Divination; for me, the Bible is one of my favorite and primary sources of Divination. Divination comes in various forms and has been utilized across cultures and spiritual traditions for centuries. Nothing is truly new under the sun. When comparing Bible divination to playing card divination, there are similarities and key differences between using the Bible for divination and playing cards. They each have a unique purpose, various methods, and a spiritual framework of why you are doing what you do.
Bible-Based Divination is typically presented but not always as a way for God to reveal God energy within to who is performing Divination or who they are performing Divination for giving Godly guidance, answers you seem stuck about, or judgments and prophecies about chosen individuals or guidance about sacred objects.
In Bible divination, many feel like it's not up for much interpretation. The guidance is understood as the Bible is a Niski, with messages coming directly from God (Yahweh) or the Highest Ancestor rather than being up for your worldly individual interpretation or external spirits as the source of information.
How Some Hoodoo and Rootworkers justify their divination practice by Casting lots was a common biblical form of Divination as a way of seeing God’s will. You can find examples of casting lots in Leviticus 16:8–10; Jonah 1:7
